Side by Side: Jessica Iridescent Eye and Catrice Genius In The Bottle

Pripravila sem primerjavo med lakoma za nohte: Jessica Iridescent Eye in Catrice Genius In The Bottle. Čeprav na prvi pogled in tudi v stekleničkah izgledata precej podobno, sta na nohtih popolnoma različna. Jessice vsebuje več zlate, medtem ko pri Catrice prevladuje bakreni odtenek. Oba laka se prelivata v zeleno in celo v modro barvo.

I prepared a comparison between two nail polishes: Jessica Iridescent Eye and Catrice Genius In The Bottle. Even though on the first sight and in the bottles they look very similar, they are completely different on the nails. Jessica is more golden and Catrice is more coppery shade. They both shift colors to green and even to blue.

Catrice - kazalec in prstanec, Jessica - sredinec in mezinec.

Catrice - index and ring, Jessica - middle and pinkie.

Kateri od njih vam je bolj pri srcu? Jessica mi je bila takoj všeč in sem jo nosila že dvakrat, nad Catrice pa sedaj nisem več pretirano navdušena... Moram ji dati priložnost, da se izkaže, kajne?

Which of them do you prefer? I loved Jessica since I got it and I already wore it twice, but Catrice... I don't know, I'm not too excited anymore. But I should give it a chance and wear it, right?

Sedaj pa samo še novička za bralke iz Slovenije, če ga slučajno katera išče - danes sem v Maximarketu v Ljubljani videla še nekaj Jessica Iridescent Eye lakcev. Catrice pa naj bi bil tako ali tako v redni prodaji. ;)

Essence Feels So Good top coat

Prepričana sem, da že poznate ta lakec iz Essence Remix Your Style omejene kolekcije. Gre za odtenek oziroma nadlak Feels So Good. Vsebuje pretežno roza šimer, ki pa se pod različnimi koti spremeni v zeleno barvo. Za podlago sem uporabila lak Almost Black znamke Catrice, ki je bil del starejše linije, ko stekleničke še niso bile zaobljene.

I'm sure that you have already heard about this nail polish from Essence Remix Your Style limited collection. This is Feels So Good color, well, it's actually a top coat. It has pretty pink shimmer, which flashes to green under right angle. For base color I used Almost Black nail polish from Catrice. This is one of their old nail polishes and it's not even in the rounded newer bottle.

OPI Silver Shatter over Catrice Almost Black

Če povem po pravici, me crackle manija ni pretirano zagrabila. Efekt je sicer v redu, vendar zanj ne bi porabila veliko denarja. Vse dokler nisem zagledala tega lepotca!... OPI Silver Shatter se mi zdi popoln, sploh preko temnejše podlage, za kar sem uporabila Catrice Almost Black lakec iz njihove starejše linije, ko stekleničke še niso bile okrogle.
Ta kombinacija mi je noro všeč, kako pa je všeč vam? :)

If I tell you the truth, crackle mania never got me that hard. Effect is nice and ok, but I would not spend much money on it. That was until I saw this beauty!... I think OPI Silver Shatter is just perfect for me and I like it the most over darker base. Here I used Catrice Almost Black nail polish from their old line, when bottles were not round yet.
I love this combination! And what do you think about it, do you like it? :)

Catrice - From Dusk To Dawn

Catrice - From Dusk To Dawn je lepotec, ki potrebuje dve plasti za popolno prekrivnost, z nanosom pa ni prav nobenih težav, saj je lak ravno prav gost.

Catrice - From Dusk To Dawn is a nice polish that only needs two coats to achieve perfect opacity. I also had no problems with the application.

Catrice - Clay-ton, My Hero

Clay-ton, My Hero je še eden izmed Catrice lakcev, ki so vsi po vrsti super. Imajo meni osebno skoraj popoln čopič in prav vsi ki jih imam jaz potrebujejo samo dve plasti za popolno prekrivnost. Tale ni nobena izjema, barva je pa tudi, kot lahko vidite po fotografijah čudovita.

Clay-ton, My Hero is just another Catrice polish. They have almost perfect brush and all of the ones I own only need two coats for perfect opacity. This one is not an exception and the color is wonderful as you can see it on these photos.

Catrice - Sold Out Forever

Catrice - Sold Out Forever je svetlo zelen lakec, ki večino časa izgleda krem, vendar v sebi skriva kar nekaj svetlega šimra, ki se prikaže samo na močnem sončku. Na slikah sta 2 plasti.

Catrice - Sold Out Forever is a light green polish that looks creme most of the time, anyway it has some lighter shimmer that shows up nicely in strong sun. I painted two coats of polish for these pictures.
