Perfect Matte Green Glitter Nail Polish

V mat nadlak sem vmešala zelene holografske bleščice različnih velikosti ter šimrast zelen lak. Tole pa je rezultat mojega eksperimenta:

I mixed some multisized loose holographic green glitter with matte top coat and green shimmery nail polish. And this is the result:

Tole manikuro sem nosila že kar nekaj časa nazaj. Ampak danes ko sem na računalniku najdla te slike, sem si zaželela nekaj podobnega na nohtih in mislim da bo tale lak spet kmalu prišel na vrsto.

I wore this manicure quite a long time ago. But I found it on my computer today and I like it so much that I think it will be on my nails again soon.

Barry M - Caramel and Models Own - Grape Juice

Danes vam bom pokazala fotografije dveh lakcev, ki sem jih za preizkus prejela od spletne trgovine ličila.si. Prvi med njima je Barry M lakec Caramel iz Matte kolekcije. Kot pove že samo ime kolekcije, gre za mat lak, njegovo ime pa dobro opiše barvo, gre za svetlo karamelni ali temnejši kožni odtenek. Na fotografijah so trije sloji.

Today I will show you photos of two polishes that I received from slovenian online store ličila.si for swatching. First among them is Barry M Caramel nail polish from Matte collection. As the name of the collection already implies, it is a matte nail polish and its name describes it good as well, it is a light caramel or dark nude color. There are three coats on the photos.

Naslednji pa je Models Own lakec iz Scented kolekcije, ki naj bi bila odišavljena. Grape Juice je pastelno vijoličen odtenek, ki pa na žalost popolnoma nič ne diši. :( Na fotografijah so trije sloji.

Next one is Models Own nail polish from the Scented collection, which should be scented, of course. Grape Juice is a pastel purple shade, but unfortunately there is absolutely no scent about it at all. :( There are three coats on the photos.

Oba lakca sem fotografirala brez nadlaka, da bo res vidno, kakšen finiš imata. Prvi od njiju je popolnoma mat, drugi pa zelo sijoč, kar mi je bilo zelo všeč. Imate tudi ve kakšnega od lakcev iz teh dveh kolekcij? Če imate kakšnega is Scented kolekcije, a diši?

Both of these polishes here are photographed without a top coat so you can really see what finish do they have. The first of these is completely matte, but the other is very shiny, which I liked very much. Do you also have some of the polishes from these two collections? If you have any from Scented collection, does it have a scent?

Uf, za ta lakec nisem imela nobenih posebnih pričakovanj, ampak me je takoj popolnoma navdušil! Gre za čudovit temno vijoličen odtenek, ki je že skoraj črn, vsebuje pa srebrn, vijoličen in celo moder večji šimer. Ker je tudi cena nadvse prijetna, ga toplo priporočam, če ga kje zagledate. Zdaj pa k fotkam! :)

Wow, I didn't have big expectations about this polish, but it really blew my mind away! This is very gorgeous dark purple, almost black colour and there is a lot of bigger shimmer in silver, purple and even blue colour. It is very affordable too, so you really can't miss with buying this little gem, if you see it anywhere. And now let's go to the photos! :)



Zdelo se mi je, da bi lak zaradi velikega šimra, ki že skoraj meji na bleščice, dobro izgledal tudi zmatiran. Uporabila sem China Glaze Matte Magic in mislim, da se nisem zmotila, všeč sta mi obe verziji! Katera pa je bolj všeč vam?

Because of the huge shimmer that almost looks like glitter I thought this polish would look good mattified. I used China Glaze Matte Magic and I think I wasn't wrong. I really love both versions very much! And what do you think, which one looks better?

Finger Paints - Blissfully Blue and China Glaze - Matte Magic

Danes imam za vas obljubljene fotografije lakca Finger Paints v odtenku Blissfully Blue. Gre za krem pastelno modro barvo, ki je bila presenetljivo super enostavna za nanašanje! Če bi bila previdna, bi jo lahko odnesla že z eno plastjo, vendar nisem bila, zato sta na fotografijah dve plasti. Steklenička mi je izredno lepe oblike, čopič je ravno prav velik in ni sploščen, lak pa je zelo prekriven. Lakcev te znamke si moram očitno priskrbeti še več! :)

Today I will show you my photos of Finger Paints Blissfully Blue nail polish. This is pastel light blue creme and it was super easy to apply! If I have been more careful, I could get away with just one coat, but I wasn't, so there are two coats on the photos. This polish is super opaque and I love that! The bottle is very pretty to me too and the brush is not flat and it's not too big. I have to get more of these beauties from Finger Paints! :) Jess, thank you so so much, I loved the color in the bottle right away, but on the nails it's even better! :)

Pretty little box

Danes me je poštar zelo razveselil! Prinesel mi je prekrasen majhen paketek z rožicami iz Amerike. :) Paketek je darilo prijazne blogerke jbrobeck (polish insomniac), ker sem pravilno odgovorila na vprašanje, ki ga je zastavila na svojem blogu.

The mailman made me very happy today! He brought me a beautiful little flowery package from America. :) This is a gift from a very lovely blogger jbrobeck (polish insomniac), because I correctly answered the question she asked on her blog.

Nagrada je Finger Paints lakec, odtenek Blissfully Blue, ki je prvi lakec te znamke v moji zbirki in mi je izredno všeč! V paketku pa me čakalo še presenečenje, in sicer China Glaze Matte Magic nadlak! =))

Essence - Crazy About Colour - Lilac Forever

Danes vam bom predstavila moj najljubši vijolični krem lakec, ki sem ga nosila že nekaj časa nazaj :) Essence - Lilac Forever je del omejene izdaje Crazy About Colour, za popolno prekrivnost pa potrebuje dve zelo previdni plasti.

Today I'll show you my favourite creme purple nail polish. It's called Lilac Forever from Essence and it is a part of Crazy About Colour limited edition. It takes two very careful coats for ok opacity.




Čez nekaj časa pa sem mu dodala še Mat nadlak China Glaze - Matte Magic, vendar mi je bila glossy verzija bolj všeč.

after wearing it for a while I decided to try it with matte top coat, so I added China Glaze - Matte Magic on top of it. I think I liked it more without this top coat.

Essence - into the Wild - Zulu with konad

Essence - Zulu je del Into the Wild kolekcije. Lak naj bi imel mat finiš vendar je izgled bolj plastičen, kot mat.
Ker me sama barva ni prepričala, sem ga poskušala malo poživiti s konadom, nato pa sem nanesla še nadlak.

Essence - Zulu is a part of the Into the Wild limited edition. This polish was supposed to have a matte finish, but it looks more plastic than matte.
The color by itself did not really convince me so I added some konad and topped it with a top coat.

S-he 466

Zopet imam za vas fotografije manikure, ki je še nisem objavila, a sem jo nosila že nekaj časa nazaj. Na nohtih imam namreč še kar Zoya Ibizo, ki po treh dnevih še vedno super izgleda! :)
Osnova na sledečih fotografijah je S-he 466, siv lakec, ki ga zlato zelen šimer spremeni skoraj v olivno barvo. Dodala sem vzorček z Essence ploščice in Essence Love of My Life zlatim lakcem, na koncu pa sem vse skupaj premazala še z Essie MAY nadlakom. Mogoče bi bilo bolje, če bi zadnji korak izpustila, kaj pravite?

I will show you one of my previous manicures today. I'm still wearing Zoya Ibiza though, after 3 days my manicure still looks great! :)
Base colour on my next photos is S-he 466, gray nail polish with gold and green shimmer. It almost looks olive green to me which I love. I added a design from Essence image plate and Essence Love of My Life golden nail polish, which is great for stamping. I topped it with Essie MAY top coat, but I think it would be better if I didn't, right?

Zoya - Veruschka (glossy) and Zoya - Ibiza

Colette in Jackie S. sta mi svetovali, naj Veruschko premažem še z glossy nadlakom. Meni je bila že mat verzija zelo zelo všeč, ampak vseeno sem bila radovedna, kako bo izgledal ta lakec s sijajem. In potem je sledil šok! Ta manikura je bila v živo še 100x lepša, kot pa se mi je zdela na ostalih fotografijah! Enostavno čudovito! :)

Colette and Jackie S. commented that I should put a glossy top coat over Veruschka. I liked the matte look very very much, but I was curious about the glossy version too. And then I was shocked! It looks sooo much better that I've seen on other photos before! It's gorgeous! :)

Sledi pa še fotografija današnje manikure, seveda je takoj prišla na vrsto še Ibiza. Na fotografiji sta dva sloja, posneta je z bliskavico. Načrtujem še primerjavo med tem odtenkom in Essence SYF Deep Blue Sea, vendar zaenkrat še nisem imela časa...

Next is my NOTD, of course I had to try Ibiza right away too. There are two coats on the photo and the photo is taken with flash. I plan to do a comparison with this colour and Essence SYF Deep Blue Sea, but I didn't have much time 'till now. So stay tuned! ;)

Surprise gift

Danes me je doma čakalo nekaj čudovitega!
Moj fant me je zelo lepo presenetil, dobila sem darilo. No ja, ne samo eno, ampak kar dve! :) Verjetno si že mislite, za kaj gre! ;)
Ja, dobila sem dva lakca, in sicer moji prvi Zoyi! :D
Nekako imam probleme s skrivanjem navdušenja! :D Očitno! :D
Na naslednjih fotografijah sta moji novi steklenički Ibize in Veruschke, na zadnji pa moja še skoraj sveža manikura.
Ali ni super izbral? Jaz sem totalno navdušena! =))

Today there was something beautiful waiting for me at home!
My boyfriend surprised me and I got a gift. Well, not only one, but actually two gifts! :) You probaby already know what this is about! ;)
Yes, I got two nail polishes, my first two Zoya-s! :D
And now I have some problems trying to hide my excitement! :D Obviously! :D
On the next two photos there are my new bottles of Ibiza and Veruschka and on the last there is my new manicure.
Didn't he choose great two colours? I'm totally thrilled! =))

Orly - Blue Suede

Orly - Blue Suede je moder mat lakec, ki spada v Matte Couture kolekcijo. Lakec mi je zelo všeč, čeprav se mi je odkrušil preden sem ga sprobala z nadlakom, zato tokrat žal ne bo glossy verzije.

Orly - Blue Suede is a blue matte polish that is a part of Matte Couture collection. I like this color a lot, eventhough it chipped before I could try it with a glossy top coat, so I have only matte photos for you today.

OPI - You Don't Know Jacques SUEDE

Ta lakec izgleda tako lepo... Na mojih nohtih se mi je zdel čudovit, ampak na žalost je na njih ostal samo kakšne tri ure, nato pa se mi je okrušil z vseh nohtov, na nekaterih celo do polovice!
Nanesla sem eno plast podlaka, 1 plast YDKJ in potem sem ta postopek še enkrat ponovila. Žal se ni obneslo... :(
Ampak kljub temu mi je uspelo posneti dobro fotografijo, ko je bil lak še na nohtih. Tu je samo za vas, drage bralke! :)

This polish looks so good... I love it on my nails, but unfortunately it was there only for like 3 hours, then half of it chipped off!
I used 1 coat of my base polish, 1 coat of YDKJ and repeated that once more time just to keep it on my nails longer. But I had no luck... :(
I still managed to get a good photo of it though, so here it is just for you, lovely readers! :)

Manicure upgrade

Ker je bil OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue po enem dnevu še kar popoln, sem ga nadgradila s NfuOh#39, ki je prozoren lak s krpicami prosojno rumeno zelene barve, ki preko modrega lakca postanejo čudovite zelene barve.

OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue was still looking perfect after a day of wear, so I decided to upgrade it with a layer of NfuOh#39. This is clear polish with sheer opalescent flakies that look wonderfully green over dark blue polish.




Ker z rezultatom nisem bila popolnoma zadovoljna, sem kasneje dodala še plast China Glaze - Matte Magic nadlaka, ki je krpice v laku še bolj poudaril.

I was not completely satisfied with the result, so I decided to add a layer of China Glaze - Matte Magic top coat, that made the flakies stand out even more.

OPI - You Don't Know Jacques SUEDE

Danes vam bom pokazala še en lakec iz OPI Suede kolekcije, imenovan You Don't Know Jacques Suede.

Today I will show you OPI - You Don't Know Jacques Suede, that is a part of the Suede collection.




Seveda sem ga morala pred odstranjevanjem sprobati še z nadlakom, in takšen je zdržal še en dodaten dan na mojih nohtih.

Before removing it, I also tried how it looks with a glossy top coat, and I liked the result, so it stayed on my nails for another day.




Tale lakec me je prijetno presenetil, saj sem pričakovala da se bo odkrušil po pol dneva, vendar je na mojih nohtih zdržal cele tri dni, zadnji dve sliki pa sta posneti čisto pred odstranjevanjem.

This polish really surpised me, because it did not start chipping within the first two days of wear, and it lasted another day with top coat. The last two pictures were taken, right before I removed it, and i still looked great.

Zoya - Veruschka glossy

Pred odstranjevanjem mat Zoye - Veruschka sem jo nameravala samo sprobati še z nadlakom, saj nisem pričakovala da mi bo všeč glossy. Na moje presenečenje mi je takšna še lepša in bo še nekaj časa krasila moje nohte.
Kakšna je pa vam bolj všeč? Mat ali glossy?
Prve tri slike so posnete v senci, zadnja pa na sončku.

Before I removed Zoya - Veruschka, I decided to try how it looks glossy, I didn't really expect to like it, but it surprised me in a good way and I like it a lot. I think I'll be wearing it for a while more.
