Bella Oggi - Strass Effect - 03 and 04

Znašla sem se v situaciji, ko sta me zelo pritegnila dva lakca s hrapavim finišem, vendar zanju preprosto nisem želela plačati toliko denarja, kot je bila njuna cena. Prvi od njiju je OPI - Jinx iz Liquid Sand linije, drugi pa IsaDora - Ocean Crush s Sugar Crush kolekcije. Potem pa sem se znašla pred novim stojalom Bella Oggi kozmetike. In glej ga zlomka, na polički so imeli tudi lakce s Strass Effect finišem, med njima pa odtenka 04 in 03, ki ne bi mogla biti bolj podobna prvima dvema lakcema, ki sem ju omenjala. In cena? Za oba skupaj sem plačala približno 6 €. Ko pa sem prišla domov, sem navdušeno ugotovila, da sta kljub občutno nizki ceni tudi zelo kvalitetna! :)

I found myself in a situation where I was very attracted to two nail polishes with a textured finish, but I just didn't want to pay as much money for them as their price was. The first one of these was OPI - Jinx from the Liquid Sand line and the other one was Isadora - Ocean Crush from Sugar Crush collection. Later I spotted a new stand from Bella Oggi cosmetics in my store. And OMG, on the shelf there were also nail polishes with Strass Effect finish. Among them there were two shades, 04 and 03, which couldn't be more similar to the first two polishes I mentioned. What about their price? For both of them together I paid about 6 €. And when I got home, I was also delighted to find out that, despite their significantly lower price, they are also very good quality! :)
 

Odtenek št. 04 je živo oranžne barve z zlatimi bleščicami. Na fotografiji sta sicer dva sloja, vendar bi bil morda dovolj tudi že en sam. Prekrivnost je odlična, lak se je lepo nanašal in zelo hitro posušil, hrapav efekt pa je zelo očiten.

Color Nr. 04 is bright orange nail polish with golden glitter. There are two coats on the photos, but I might get away with only one too, it's very opaque. The polish was easy to work with, it dried very fast and the textured finish is very noticeable. 

Opis odtenka št. 03 je zelo podoben prvemu, le da gre za drugačno barvo - turkizno ali pa modro zeleno z zlatimi bleščicami.

The shade 03 has the same qualities as the first one, except that it is a different color - turquoise or maybe blue green with golden glitter.

Nad tema dvema lepotcema sem še vedno čisto navdušena! :) Ostalih odtenkov sicer nimam, vendar lahko ta dva vseeno toplo priporočam. Če so OPI in IsaDora laki predragi tudi vam, pa sploh. Stojalo sem videla v prodajalni Nama v Ljubljani. Kako pa vam je sicer všeč ta hrapav finiš?

I am still quite impressed over these two beauties! :) I do not own other shades from this line, but I can still recommend these two very much. If OPI and IsaDora nail polishes are too expensive for you too, then even more. Do you even like polishes with textured finish?

Hits Speciallita Apolo and Hera

Dobila sem pošto, paketek z noro vsebino!! =) Prišla je iz Slovenije, poslala pa mi ga je super punca Ivana z bloga Ivana Thinks Pink. K njej so prišli lakci iz daljne Brazilije, poslala pa ji jih je Sarah z bloga Rainbow Obsession. Punci, obema se zahvaljujem na vso moč, hvala, ker sta mi mavrično polepšali prve pomladne sončne dni! ;)

I got a package with crazy content!! =) It came from Slovenia, a great girl Ivana from Ivana Thinks Pink sent it to me. She recieved wonderful nail polishes all the way from Brazil, and they were sent from lovely Sarah from Rainbow Obsession. I would like to thank both girls so so much for making my first sunny spring days so vibrant and full of rainbows! ;)

In zdaj k lakcema - dobila sem odtenka Apolo in Hero, ki sta del kolekcije Hits Speciallita No Olimpo.

And now to the polishes - I recieved colors Apolo and Hera and they are part of Hits Speciallita No Olimpo collection.

Ivana me je popolnoma navdušila nad njima še preden sem ju sploh dobila in imela je prav - v živo izgledata še veliko bolje, kot to lahko prikažejo fotografije! Oba odtenka sta prekrivna v dveh slojih, barva pa je intenzivna in globoka. Edina stvar, ki bi jo spremenila, je velikost stekleničk, namesto 6 ml bi raje videla 15 ml ali še kaj več. ;)

Ivana got me totally excited by them even before I recieved them and she was right - in reality they look sooo much better than the photos can show! Both shades are opaque at two coats and colors are intense and deep. The only thing that I would change is the size of the bottles, instead of 6 ml I would prefer 15 ml or even more. ;)

Hera, Apolo, Hera, Apolo

Ali so vam všeč holografski lakci? Če je odgovor DA, potem definitivno potrebujete kakšen lakec iz te kolekcije! =)

Pupa 606 and Deborah Shine Tech 56

Pupa 606 je lakec, ki v steklenički izgleda noro čudovito. Gre za temno rdeče-vijoličen odtenek z večjim šimrom, ki spreminja barvo glede na osvetlitev. Na prvi pogled je roza, preliva pa se v zlato, zeleno, modro in vijolično barvo. Na žalost ta efekt na nohtih ni opazen, vendar me je lakec vseeno navdušil. Prekrivnost je odlična, zadoščal bi že en sloj, vendar sem iz navade nanesla dva.

Pupa 606 is a nail polish which in the bottle looks insanely beautiful. It is a dark red-purple color with glass flecked shimmer that changes color depending on the lighting. At first glance it looks pink, but it shifts to gold, green, blue and purple color. Unfortunately, this effect is not noticeable on the nails, but I was still very impressed with this polish. Coverage was excellent, it was opaque in one coat, but I added two just out of habit.

Deborah Shine Tech odtenek številka 56 pa je turkizen odtenek z večjim zlatim, rumenim in zelenim šimrom. Čeprav imam v zbirki nekaj podobnih odtenkov, sem že nekajkrat posegla prav po tem laku, na nohtih namreč s tremi sloji izgleda veliko bolj živahen od ostalih. Svetlika se v vseh svetlobnih pogojih, tako na soncu, kot tudi v temnejših prostorih in velikokrat sem se zalotila, kako opazujem svoje nohte in jih obračam, da bi se bleščal še bolj. :)

Deborah Shine Tech nail polish number 56 is turquoise with golden, yellow and green glass flecked shimmer. Even though I have some similar nail polishes in my collection, I have worn this particular polish for several times, because with three coats it looks much more vibrant on the nails than others. It is sparkling in all lighting conditions, so in the sun, as well as in dark rooms, and often I caught myself staring at my nails and flipping them to see even more sparkles. :)

In kaj imata ta dva lakca skupnega? S potovanja mi ju je prinesel moj ati. Še vedno težko verjamem! =) Hihihi, glede na njegovo izbiro odtenkov sem vedno bolj prepričana, da na skrivaj bere moj blog! ;)

And what do these two nail polishes have in common? Both of them were a gift from my dad from his trip. It's still hard to believe! =) Hihihi, according to his choice of the shades I'm becoming increasingly convinced that he secretly reads my blog! ;)

Spectraflair frankens!

Ekstremno prijazna Cathy z bloga More Nail Polish nama je omogočila, da sva v svojo zbirko dodali nekaj gramov pigmenta Spectraflair. Seveda sem takoj zavihala rokave! :)

Extremely nice Cathy from More Nail Polish blog made it happen for us - she helped us to add few grams of Spectraflair pigment to our collections. Of course I started to franken right away! :)

Zaenkrat sem ustvarila štiri zmešančke. Prvi je modre barve, ki pa je kar precej prosojen, zato sem ga slojila čez eno plast polnoprekrivnega modrega laka Jonca s foil finišem, ki žal nima niti imena niti številke.

I have created four frankens until now. First of them is blue, but it is very sheer, so I layered it over one coat of fully opaque blue foil finish Jonca nail polish, which sadly has no name or number.

Sestavine: Essence Colour & Go Absolute Pure (prozoren lak), 5 kapljic Jonca modrega foil finiš lakca, 3 kapljice China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic in Spectraflair pigment.

Ingredients: Essence Colour & Go Absolute Pure (clear polish), 5 drops of Jonca blue foil finish nail poish, 3 drops of China Glaze Rodeo Fanatic and Spectraflair pigment.

Pri naslednjem zmešančku sploh nisem komplicirala. V prozoren lakec Essence Colour & Go Absolute Pure sem dodajala SF pigment, dokler nisem bila zadovoljna z mavrico. Na fotografijah so štiri plasti brez podlaka in nadlaka.

I did not complicate with my next franken at all. I was adding SF pigment into clear polish Essence Colour & Go Absolute Pure until I was satisfied with the rainbow. There are four coats on the photos without base and top coats.

Seveda mi prekriven moder holografski zmešanček ni dal miru, zato sem ustvarila še tega. Na fotografijah sta dve plasti, čeprav bi bila dovolj samo ena, če bi bila bolj previdna pri nanašanju.

But I still wanted to have an opaque blue holographic nail polish, so I made that one too. There are two coats on the photos, but I could get away with just one if I was more careful with the application.

Sestavine: Joy - 389 (temnno moder lak z jelly finišem) in Spectraflair pigment.

Ingredients: Joy - 389 (dark blue nail polish with jelly finish) and Spectraflair pigment.

Trenutno zadnji izmed zmešančkov pa je nastal iz Essence Choose Me turkiznega laka z večjimi zlatimi bleščicami, ki sem mu dodala še nekaj SF pigmenta.

The last franken for now is made from Essence Choose Me torquoise nail polish with bigger golden glitter and some SF pigment as well.

Za konec pa naj vam pokažem še kombinacijo dveh lakcev, po vrhu prekrivnega modrega frenkija sem namreč nanesla še eno plast turkiznega frenkija. Ta manikura je trenutno moja najljubša, katera pa je najbolj všeč vam?

And for the end I would like to show you my favourite manicure - over an opaque blue franken I did one coat of the torquoise one. And which one do you like the most?

Tale Spectraflair pigment je res super, zdaj sploh ne čakam več na nove kolekcije in upam še na kakšnega luštnega holota. Če so nas proizvajalci lakov v tej smeri zadnja leta razočarali in puščali na cedilu, si lahko same pomagamo do novih prekrasnih mavričnih lepotcev! :P ;D Ali ste tudi ve že preiskusile ta pigment? This Spectraflair pigment is really really great! I don't even wait for any new collection of holographic nail polishes. Colorful manicures

Zadnje čase mi navadne manikure niso ravno najbolj zanimive, zato sem poskusila dve malo bolj nenavadni kombinaciji. Obe sta narejeni s samimi holografskimi zmešančki.
Lately I'm not really too excited about ordinary one color manicures, so I tried two little more unusual combinations. Both of them are made with my holographic frankens.


Zgornja manikura je nastala med ustvarjanjem zmešančkov, vendar mi je bila na koncu tako všeč da je ostala na nohtih kar nekaj časa. Vseeno pa mi je spodnja bolj všeč in mislim da jo bom zelo kmalu poustvarila z drugimi barvami.

First manicure was created while I was swatching my new frankens, but it stayed on my nails for a while as I quite liked it. Anyway, I liked the second one even more and I will recreate it again with diferent colors.

Barry M cosmetics

Pred kratkim sem naročila nekaj Barry M izdelkov v spletni trgovini ličila.si. Med drugim so se v moji košarici znašli tudi lakec Cobalt Blue, svetleče črtalo za ustnice in oči v roza barvi in čudežna šminka. Na žalost sem doživela reakcijo na zadnja dva izdelka. Po uporabi šminke sem imela pekoč občutek na ustnicah, po testiranju barvice pa se mi je oko solzilo še celi dan kljub temu, da sem izdelek takoj odstranila. Ker nimam izkušenj s preobčutljivostjo na kozmetične izdelke, me je to precej presenetilo. Prepričana sem bila, da izdelkov ne bom več mogla vrniti, vendar so me v spletni trgovini zelo prijetno presenetili in mi v zamenjavo ponudili tri lakce po moji izbiri. Odnos do strank je res odličen in z moje strani si zaslužijo vse pohvale. :)

Couple of days ago I ordered some Barry M cosmetics in online shop from our country called licila.si. Among other stuff I got Cobalt Blue nail polish, shimmering eye and lip crayon in pink and magic lip paint. Unfortunatelly I got an allergic reaction to the last two products. My lips were stinging after I used the lip paint and after I tested the crayon my eye was watering for the whole day despite of the fact I removed the crayon right away. I had no experiences with reactions to make up like this before. I was sure, that I won't be able to return the products, but the people from this online shop were very nice to me and they offered me an exchange - three nail polishes of my choice. They really have great costumer service! :)

Na sledeči fotografiji pa so trije lakci, ki sem si jih dobila v zameno za izdelka, ki mi nista ustrezala. Izbrala sem Mint Green, Pure Turquoise in Red Black.

On the next photo there are three polishes I got as an exchange. I chose Mint Green, Pure Turquoise and Red Black.

Essie - Turquoise & Caicos

Essie - Turquoise & Caicos je čudovit turkizen odtenek. Moti me edino neprekrivnost, saj so na sliki debele tri plasti pa se še vedno vidijo lise.

Essie - Turquoise & Caicos is a perfect turquoise creme polish, the only thing I don't like about it is that it took three thick coats for the opacity shown on the photos and the coverage is still not perfect.

OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue

OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue je temno moder lak z zelo zanimivim svetlejše modrim, skoraj turkiznim šimrom. Nanašal se je zelo lepo in je bila skoraj dovolj že samo ena plast, vendar sem zaradi boljšega občutka vseeno nanesla dve.

OPI - Yoga-ta Get This Blue is a dark blue polish with very interesting lighter blue almost turquoise shimmer that makes it really unique. It applied great and was almost opaque in one coat, I aded second one for more depht in color.

Color Club - Age of Aquarius

Danes imam za vas lakec, ki ga nikakor nisem mogla realno poslikati. Color Club - Age of Aquarius je v živo bolj zelen kot na mojih slikah ampak mi te zelene barve ni nikakor uspelo ujeti v objektiv.
Na slikah so tri plasti lakca, posnete pa so na sončku.

I have very color inaccurate pictures for you today. Color Club - Age of Aquarius is a little greener in real life than it is on my photos, but I could not capture that green color no matter how I tried.
Pictures are taken in the sun and there are three coats of polish on my nails.
