Few manicures from last month

Danes vam bom pokazala nekaj manikur, ki sem jih nosila pred kratkim.

Today I will show you some manicures I wore recently.

Za prvo izmed njih sem uporabila OPI DS Extravagance lakec. Najprej sem ga nosila dva dni, ampak je bil preveč lep, da bi ga odstranila zaradi nekaj okruškov. Zato sem z gobico na konice dodala lakec China Glaze Tickle My Triangle, nato pa prehode še potiskala s konad rožicami in China Glaze Millenium lakcem.

For the first one I used OPI DS Extravagance nail polish. I wore it for itself for two days and it chipped a bit, but it was too beautiful to remove so soon. That's why I added China Glaze Tickle My Triangle with sponge on my tips and then I stamped it with konad flowers and China Glaze Millenium nail polish.




Za naslednjo sem uporabila OPI Red My Fortune Cookie, ampak v bistvu nisem pretirano navdušena nad krem finiši lakcev. Nekaj se pa mora svetiti. :) Zato sem na palce in prstance dodala majhne nalepke in vse skupaj premazala z Gosh Rainbow lakcem. Ampak kaj, ko se krpice niso hotele fotografirati... :(

For the next one I used OPI Red My Fortune Cookie, but I don't really like simple cream finishes of nail polishes, because I need some sparkle. :) So I added little stickers on my thumbs and ring fingers and then I painted over one coat of Gosh Rainbow. But the flakies didn't want to photograph... :(




Pri zadnji izmed manikur, ki vam jo bom pokazala, sem za bazo uporabila Color Club Gossip Column lakec. Dodala sem še nalepke na prstanca, nato pa vse skupaj premazala z lakcem Bichun 648, ki vsebuje manjše in večje opalne bleščice. Ker to še vedno ni bilo TO, sem stvar še bolj zakomplicirala in dodala še plast OPI Last Friday Night. Potem pa sem bila končno zadovoljna. Je bil že čas, kajne? ;)

For the last manicure that I'm going to show you today I used Color Club Gossip Column nail polish. I added some stickers on my ring fingers anf then I topped it with one coat of Bichun 648 nail polish. This one has gorgeous larger and smaller opalescent glitter in it! But that still wasn't IT, so I complicated it even more and added one coat of OPI Last Friday Night on top. Then I was pleased. Finally, it was about time, right? ;)

S-he - 500 in OPI DS - Desire

Najprej imam za vas fotografijo S-he lakca št. 500, ki je eden izmed novejših. Gre za rjavkast / taupe odtenek. Na fotografiji sta 2 plasti, posneta je bila na sončku. Zelo je podoben laku Essence Desert Fox iz kolekcije Into The Wild, ki si ga lahko ogledate TUKAJ.

Firstly I have a photo of S-he nail polish No. 500, this is one of the newest. It's brownish / taupe colour, there are two coats on the photos and the photo was taken in the sun. It is very similar to the Essence Desert Fox nail polish from Into The Wild collection, which you can see HERE.

Ampak seveda jaz ne bi bila jaz, če manikure pozneje ne bi nadgradila. Po možnosti s holografskim lakom. :) Dodala sem eno plast OPI DS Desire, sledijo si fotografije z bliskavico, v senci in na koncu še na sončku, kjer mi je bila manikura tudi najbolj všeč.

But it wouldn't be me if I didn't layer something over. If this polish is holographic - even better. :) I added one coat of OPI DS Desire. Following photos are taken with flash, in the shadow and in the sun, where I liked this manicure the most.

Colorful manicures

Zadnje čase mi navadne manikure niso ravno najbolj zanimive, zato sem poskusila dve malo bolj nenavadni kombinaciji. Obe sta narejeni s samimi holografskimi zmešančki.
Lately I'm not really too excited about ordinary one color manicures, so I tried two little more unusual combinations. Both of them are made with my holographic frankens.


Zgornja manikura je nastala med ustvarjanjem zmešančkov, vendar mi je bila na koncu tako všeč da je ostala na nohtih kar nekaj časa. Vseeno pa mi je spodnja bolj všeč in mislim da jo bom zelo kmalu poustvarila z drugimi barvami.

First manicure was created while I was swatching my new frankens, but it stayed on my nails for a while as I quite liked it. Anyway, I liked the second one even more and I will recreate it again with diferent colors.

Ker je precej prosojen, sem 1 plast nanesla preko črnega laka.

I did 1 coat over black, because it is a little bit sheer.

OPI DS - Extravagance

Pozdravljene!
Ta lakec že vse zelo dobro poznate, sedaj pa mi ga je Anček prijazno posodila in končno je prišel na moje nohtke! :) Njene fotografije in prispevek si lahko pogledate tukaj.
Gre za krasen temno roza do vijoličen odtenek, ki ima zelo malo holo šimra, kar pa me začuda ne moti. Izgleda mi, kot da laku doda še dodatno globino in je zaradi njega še nekaj bolj posebnega.
Na fotografijah, ki sta posneti na sončku, sta 2 plasti.
Lakec me je resnično očaral in morala si bom omisliti svojega. :)

You all know this polish very well. Anček has kindly lent me this beauty and finally I wore it on my nails. :) Here you can see her blogging about this polish.
This is gorgeous dark pink and purple mixture with just a little bit of holographic shimmer. It surprisingly doesn't bother me, it seems to me, that it adds the depth to the polish and makes it something special.
There are 2 coats on the photos, they are taken in the sun.
This polish has really impressed me, so I have to get my own! :)

OPI DS - Reflection

Danes vam bom predstavila lakec, ki je popolnoma prekriven že v enem samem sloju.
Gre za OPI-ja, enega izmed Designer Series lakov. Na mojo žalost tudi enega izmed manj holografskih. Sprva mi je bila všeč ideja rdečega holo lakca, na koncu pa se je izkazalo, da ni niti eno niti drugo. Odtenek je dosti bolj svetel in koralen, kot sem si predstavljala in ne pristaja na mojo polt. Tudi čopič je v mojem laku občutno preširok in zato sem imela težave pri nanašanju. Že tako imam na splošno probleme z OPI-jevimi ploščatimi čopiči, ampak tale je še širši od ostalih, česar resnično ne maram! To, da je prekriven z eno plastjo, zame žal ni dovolj, da bi bila navdušena nad njim. :(
Kakšne pa so vaše izkušnje s tem lakcem?

Today I will show you a perfect one-coater. Unfortunately this is the only good thing I can say about this nail polish.
It is one of the Designer Series OPI's and it's practically not holographic at all. At first I loved the idea of a red holo nail polish, but in the end this one was neither of that. It's much lighter and coral than I have imagined and it doesn't look good on me. I usually have problems with flat brushes from OPI, because they are too big for me. But this one is even bigger then the rest of them and I hate it. One coat is enough to be opaque, but this is not enough for me to like it at all. :(

OPI DS - Desire

Ojla!
Moja Valentinova manikura je bila malce neobičajna. Nič rdečega in srčkastega, ampak vseeno nekaj izjemno pisanega. Govorim o OPI DS Desire lakcu. Gre za zlato rjav odtenek z večjimi holografskimi delci. V senci ali pod slabšo osvetlitvijo so žal slabo opazni, zato pa mavrica naravnost zažari na sončku ali pod močno lučjo. Obe fotografiji sta bili posneti pod umetno osvetlitvijo.

My Valentine's day manicure was a bit unusual. There was nothing red on my nails and no hearts whatsoever. But still my nails were extremely colourful. I was wearing OPI DS Desire nail polish. This is something in between of golden and brownish holographic nail polish with bigger holo particles. Unfortunately they are not very visible in shadow or low light, but the rainbow is just stunnig in the sun or under strong light. Both pictures are taken with flash.

OPI - DS Extravagance

Dober večer, danes imam za vas prečudovit vijoličen odtenek, ki sliši na ime OPI - DS Extravagance. Lakec je prečudovite vijolične barve z malo holografskega šimra, ki lakec lepo poživi, vendar ga je na sliki težko ujeti, saj je v senčki neopazen, sončka pa žal ni. Presenetila me je tudi prekrivnost, saj je zadostovala ena plast, naslednja pa je lakcu dala dodatno globino in ga naredila še lepšega, oboje sem seveda tudi poslikala.
Upam da vam je lakec všeč, lep dan še naprej ;)


Hi everybody, I have a wonderful polish for you today. It is called OPI - DS Extravagance and it is a perfect purple shade with little holographic shimmer that is really hard to capture on a photo. It has also suprised me that coverage was ok with 1 coat, I put on another one and it added depth to the color. I also photographed how one coat looks like.

OPI - DS Glamour

Pozdravljene vse ljubiteljice raznobarvnih lakcev še od mene. Sem Anček in skupaj s Kvacko bova poskusili narediti tale najin blog čimboljši in čim lepši. Jaz za razliko od nje res ne maram matematike, si pa deliva veselje do lakcev in pa do ustvarjanja nakita.
Pa preidimo kar k bistvu, tole je eden izmed mojih najljubših lakcev OPI - DS Glamour. Je čudovite modre barve s holografskim šimrom.
Sedaj pa poskusite ugotoviti katera od naju je navdušena nad modrimi in katera nad holografskimi lakci, naloga seveda odpade za vse članice ARS foruma ki naju že predobro poznajo.

Hi to all coloured nail lovers in the world. I'm Anček (Anchek) and together with Kvacka I will try to make this blog as colorful as I can. Unlike her I really disslike mathemathics, but we share the love for nail polish and creating jewellery.
So let's go to the point of this blog, nail polish pictures. This is OPI - DS Glamour, one of my favourite nail polishes. It is a perfect blue shade with holographic shimmer.
So now you can try to guess which one of us is crazy for blue nail polishes and which one for holographic ones.
