OPI - San Francisco mini set

Preko spletne trgovine Zapikonai sem prejela OPI San Francisco kompletek mini lakcev za nohte, ki ga sestavljajo štirje lakci za nohte, vsak z vsebino 3,75 ml.

From the Slovenian online store Zapikonai I have recieved OPI San Francisco mini set, consisting of four mini size nail polishes, each containing 3,75 ml of product.

Na žalost je bilo že na prvi pogled očitno, da z rdečim lakcem nekaj ni bilo v redu. Pokrovček ni bil dovolj zatesnjen, zato je skoraj polovica lakca izhlapela, rezultat pa je bil popolnoma nemazljiv lakec. :(

Unfortunately there was something wrong with the red nail polish on the first sight. The cap was not tight enough, so almost half of the nail polish evaporated, and the end result was completely unusable polish. :(

Zato sem kontaktirala gospo Aranko s spletne trgovine Zapikonai. Obe sva se strinjali, da bi bilo lahko napačno razumljeno, če bi objavila le fotografije treh lakcev, zato mi je gospa v sodelovanju z distributerjem poslala še en rdeč mini lakec. Zelo sem zadovoljna z odnosom do strank in tudi v preteklosti sem imela kot kupec v tej spletni trgovini same dobre izkušnje. :)

So I contacted the lady Aranka from the Slovenian online store Zapikonai. We both agreed that it could be misunderstood if I published photos of only three nail polishes. That's why she sent me another mini red nail polish in collaboration with the distributor. I am very pleased with the customer service and in the past as a customer I only had very good experiences shopping in this store too. :)

First Date at the Golden Gate - You and me and this shimmery ruby make three.
Muir Muir on the Wall - This trailblazing plum is the fairest of all.
In the Cable Car-Pool Lane - Good golly, Miss Trolley, this rich burgundy takes me away!
Peace & Love & OPI - This holographic sage and eggplant is far out!

OK, a sem samo jaz tako neumna ali pa so te opisi lakcev res tako ZELO zanič? Saj v kompletku sploh ni "bleščičastega rdečkota" in "holografskega lakca"! In samo po branju opisov bi na koncu pomešala še preostala dva, Muir Muir on the Wall and In the Cable Car-Pool Lane. Tega pa res ne razumem.

OK, is it just me or those descriptions are really THAT lame? There's no shimmery ruby and holographic nail polishes in the package! And just by reading the descriptions I would switch up the other two, Muir Muir on the Wall and In the Cable Car-Pool Lane. I don't get that, I really don't.

Zdaj pa k fotografijam lakcev na nohtih, končno. :) Na spodnjih treh fotografijah si lahko lakce ogledate v enakem vrstnem redu, kot so zloženi v škatlici (in temu sem prilagodila tudi zgornje opise).

Now to the photos of polishes on the nails, finally. :) On the following three photos you can see the polishes in the same order as they are stacked in a box (and I also adjusted the above descriptions to this order).

Ena plast. / One coat.

Dve plasti. / Two coats.

Tri plasti. / Three coats.

Lakci so popolnoma različnih konsistenc. Pri prvem, First Date at the Golden Gate, sta zadostovali samo dve plasti. Gre za krem rdeč odtenek, ki potegne na opečnato barvo. Meni je bil zelo všeč.

Polishes have completely different consistency. First one is First Date at the Golden Gate, where only two coats were enough. This is a cream shade of burnt or maybe dusty red color. I really like this one.

Naslednji je Muir Muir on the Wall, temen šimrasto vijoličen lakec. Zanj sem imela največja pričakovanja, vendar me je od vseh štirih lakcev tudi najbolj razočaral. Na fotografijah so štiri plasti. Kljub previdnosti pri nanosu pa bi lahko na prstanec nanesla še peto (!) plast. Vidite še vedno prosojno plast pri vrhu nohta? :( Poskušala sem najti tudi duochrome efekt. A-a.

Next one is Muir Muir's on the Wall, shimmery dark purple nail polish. I had the highest expectations for this one from all four polishes and at the end it disappointed me the most. This are four coats. Despite I was very careful at applying it the ring fingernail would still need another, the fifth (!) layer. Do you see the bald spot on the top of that nail? :( I also tried to find a duochrome effect. Nope.

Tretji po vrsti je In the Cable Car-Pool Lane, vijoličen lakec z jelly finišem, ki mi je presenetljivo zelo všeč. Na fotografijah so trije sloji.

Third in a row is In the Cable Car-Pool Lane, purple jelly nail polish. To my surprise I really loved it's finish. There are three coats on the photos.

Zadnji izmed štirih lakcev pa je na vrsti Peace & Love & OPI. Gre za zeleno vijoličen douchrome šimrast lakec. Pričakovala sem frosty finiš, ampak se proge čopiča skoraj niso poznale, zato sem bila z njim še bolj zadovoljna. :) Na fotografijah so trije sloji.

The last of the four polishes it is Peace & Love & OPI. It is a green douchrome shimmery purple nail polish. I was expecting a frosty finish, but the brushstrokes were almost invisible, so I was very satisfied with this nail polish. :) On the photos there are three coats.

Na splošno sem zelo zadovoljna s tem kompletkom. Odtenke so izbrali čisto po mojem okusu, glede na celotno kolekcijo so mi le-ti namreč najbolj všeč. Mogoče vmes pogrešam samo katerega od Sand Texture lakcev, npr. Alcatraz... Rocks. :) Kakšen pa se ta kompletek zdi vam? Overall I am very pleased with this set of minis. According to the whole collection I really like their selection of shades, I like those the most. Maybe I only miss one of Sand Texture polishes, for example Alcatraz ... Rocks. :) And what do you think about this set? Guppy #29

Lep pozdrav po dolgem času še od mene.
Na dopustu sem poslikala zelo veliko manikur, vseeno pa še vedno nimam veliko časa za objavljanje in urejanje fotk. Vendar pa sem se odločila da le moram nekaj objaviti po več kot mesecu dni.
Današnji odtenek dneva je lakec Guppy številka 29, ki sem ga nato nadgradila še s konadom. Lakec je jelly, zato se na sliki vidi konica, kar pa v živo sploh ni tako zelo očitno.

Hello from me too, after a long time.
On vacation I have photographed a lot of manicures, anyway I still do not have the time to edit and post them online so I decided to only show you my nails of the day for now.
It is a Guppy nail polish that has a jelly finish, so there is a little of visible nail line on the photo, and luckily it is not really visible in real life. I also added konad with silver polish and Bundle monster plate.

Idejo za tole manikuro sem pobrala pri Maestri z Parokeets, ki ji je po pravici povedano izvedba dosti boljše uspela, kot meni.
Uporabila sem lakca: Essence Shiny Star in Avon - Cherry Jubilee, nad manikuro ne bom obupala in bom naslednjič poskusila s temnejšim in bolj jelly lakcem.

This manicure was inspired by similar but a lot better created manicure by Maestra from Parokeets. I have used Avon - Cherry Jubilee and Essence - Shiniy Star nail polishes. Even though the manicure did not turn out as I wanted it to, I still like it and I will try to do it again with a darker jelly nail polish.




pa še dve slikici posneti na sončku, po tem ko sem imela manikuro na nohtkih že tri dni. Žal nisem uspela poslikati manikure v vsej svoji lepoti, saj je v resnici izgledala dosti bolj podobna maestrinim slikam kot mojim.
two more pictures, these two were taken in the sun after wearing this manicure for three day already. I did not sucess in taking a realistic picture of this manicure, it looked a lot more like on photos of Maestra.

Barry M - Red Black

To je še zadnji predstavnik te znamke v moji zbirki, ki pa je precej drugačen od prej predstavljenih odtenkov, saj ne gre za svetlo in živo barvo, temveč vampy temno rdeč odtenek z jelly finišem. Lak je malo manj prekriven od ostalih, saj sem morala nanesti tri sloje.

This is the last of the Barry M's from my collection and it's quite different from the others I own, which are bright and vibrant. Red Black is vampy dark red nail polish with jelly finish and it needed three coats for full opacity.

New York Summer - Amaranth

Danes imam na nohtih prečudovit pomladni lak New York Summer - Amaranth, ki izgleda še posebaj super na tako lep sončen dan kot je danes.
Na sliki sta dve plasti laka in nadlak, saj se sam lak posuši mat.

Today I am wearing a beautiful spring green nail polish called New York Summer - Amaranth that looks even more amazing on a nice sunny day like today.
There are two layers of polish and a top coat on photos.

Color Club - Power Play

Color Club - Power Play je neonsko vijoličen odtenek, ki se kot večina takšnih posuši mat zato je potreben nadlak. Na slikah sta dve plasti laka s Poshe nadlakom.

Color Club - Power Play is a wonderful purple neon shade that dries matte so you need a top coat for it to look glossy and jelly. There are two coats of polish and one coat of Poshe top coat on my photos.

Color Club - Ruby Slippers

Pred nekaj časa so me zelo držali bleščičasti rdečkoti in ta je eden izmed njih.
Lakec vsebuje rdeč in srebrn gliter v jelly rdeči osnovi, na fotografijah sta 2 sloja.
Zraven sem se še malo igrala s štampiljkami, Essence ploščicami z motivi in lakcem China Glaze 2030. Vam je všeč?

Some time ago I was really into red glittery polishes and this is one of them.
This polish has red and silver glitter in jelly red base, there are two coats on the photos.
I've been fooling around with Essence stampy set and new image plates and China Glaze 2030 nail polish. How do you like it?

Orly - Mint Mojito

Trenutno sem zelo navdušena nad svetlejšimi zelenimi odtenki in Orly - Mint Mojito ni izjema.
Edina stvar, ki me na njemu malo moti je jelly konsistenca, saj potrebuje vsaj tri plasti.
Barva lakca je bolj realna na prvi sliki.

Lately I really like wearing lighter green polishes and Orly - Mint Mojito is no exception.
The only thing bothering me a little is it's jelly consistency, it takes at least three coats to achieve complete opacity.
The color is more realistic on the first photo.

Alessandro 285

Tale majhni krasotec me je prijetno presenetil, ko sem ga zagledala v trgovini. Alessandro lakci se mi zdijo kar precej dragi glede na količino, zato kupim samo tiste, ki me resnično navdušijo na prvi pogled.
Tale je rdeč jelly lakec z rdečim in črnim glitrom, v njem pa lahko najdemo tudi kakšen večji zlat šestkotnik. Prekrasna kombinacija!
Na fotografijah sta 2 plasti, posneti sta z bliskavico.
Kakšen pa se zdi vam? Je tudi vas tako navdušil in je ta lakec že v vaši zbirki?

This little beauty has surprised me in the local store. Alessandro nail polishes seem quite expensive to me considering the amount, so I buy only those, that really impress me on the first sight.
This is red jelly nail polish with red and black glitter and even has some bigger golden hexagon shaped glitter in it! Just gorgeous!
There are 2 coats on the photos, they are taken with flash.

China Glaze - Stroll

China Glaze - Stroll je še zadnji lak, iz serije starejših slik, ki jih imam za vas. V temno rdeči jelly osnovi laka se skrivajo manjše zlate bleščice, ki izgledajo kot delčki stekla. Lakec je res nekaj posebnega, vendar mislim da ne bo spet kmalu pristal na mojih nohtih, saj ga je bilo zelo težko lepo nanesti.

China Glaze - Stroll is the last one of the older pictures that I have prepared for you. It has gold glass flecked glitter in jelly dark red base and it really looks amazing. It was really hard to apply nicely so I don't think I'll be using it again soon.

Pravkar ugotavljam, da sva z Anček pokazali že kar nekaj najinih China Glaze lakcev. Ampak kljub temu si ne morem pomagati, tu je še en lepotec, ki sliši na ime Stroll.
Gre za temno rdeč jelly odtenek, ki vsebuje čudovite drobne krpice zlate barve. Ljubezen na prvi pogled! :)

I just figured out that we have shown you a lot of our China Glaze nail polishes already. But I just can't help myself, here is another beauty, called Stroll.
This is dark red jelly nail polish with wonderful gold flakies. Love at first sight! :)
Both photos were taken in the sun, there are 3 coats of polish on my nails.
