Guppy blues

Na ebayu sem naročila štiri Guppy lakce in nad vsemi štirimi sem zelo navdušena! Prve tri vam bom predstavila danes, zadnjega pa kdaj drugič. Ti trije so vsi popolnoma prekrivni z eno plastjo, vendar tudi druga ne škodi, saj lakec samo še polepša.

I've ordered four Guppy nail polishes on ebay and I really like them all. First three are all completely opaque in one coat and these three I will show you today. Anyway the second coat actually just makes the color deeper so you can add another coat to be safe.

Nekaj časa nazaj sem si zaželela malo temnejšo različico lakca China Glaze - Rodeo Fanatic in nastal je tale zmešanček.
Jaz mislim da mi je kar dobro uspelo, kako pa se zdi vam?

China Glaze - L8R G8R

China Glaze - L8R G8R je svetlo zelen holo lakec, ki na sončku zažari v vsej svoji lepoti. Ob slikanju ga je bilo žal malo manj tako da se ne vidi kako zelo opazen je holo efekt.

China Glaze - L8R G8R is a light green holographic nail polish that is really amazing in the sun, but that was sadly quite weak on the day that I photographed it.

Barry M - Spring Green

Danes imam za vas lakec, ki mi ga je poslala prijazna Maja s spletne trgovine Ličila.si. Lak je skoraj prekriven v eni plasti, vendar sem za popolno prekrivnost vseeno nanesla dve plasti, saj nisem bila dovolj previdna. Barva je bolj realna na prvi sliki, saj fotoaparat na sončku ni hotel ujeti kako živa je barva v resnici.

I will show you a polish that I have received from online store Ličila.si. Spring Green is a bright green that is hard to capture on a photo so the color is more accurate on first photo.
I applied two layers of polish, but one would be enough if I was more careful.

Viva La Nails water decals

Nekaj časa nazaj sem dobila za preizkusiti paketek s spletne trgovine Viva La Nails, danes pa sem končno našla čas in sprobala nalepkice, ki se prenesejo na noht s pomočjo vode in res izgledajo fenomenalno. Nanos pa je tudi presenetljivo preprost.

A while ago I have received a package from Viva La Nails online store to try out. Finally I have found some time and I have tested their water decals, they are trully amazing and simple to apply.

Milani - Totally Cool

Lakec Milani - Totally Cool mi je bil vedno všeč na vseh slikah, vendar sem malo dvomila vanj, saj je zelo neprekriven. Ko sem ga končno dobila sem se zato odločila da ga sprobam preko podobnega prekrivnega odtenka. To je bila zelo dobra ideja, saj je na sliki samo ena plast Totally Cool laka.

I allways liked Milani - Totally Cool nail polish on photos, but I had doubts about it's opacity so I tried it over an opaque polish with similar base color. It turned out to be a really good idea so there is only one coat of the Milani polish on the photos.





Mislim da sem pravkar odkrila svoj nov najljubši lakec!
I think I just found my new favourite polish!

Sally Hansen - Ocean View

Sally Hansen - Ocean View je svetlo moder šimrast lakec z rahlim frost finišem, ki pa ni preveč moteč saj mi je lakec kljub temu zelo všeč ter je brez dvoma nekaj posebnega v moji zbirki.

Sally Hansen - Ocean View is a light blue shimmery nail polish with a slight frost finish that does not bother me at all and it is still one of my favourites and very unique in my colection.

OPI - Who The Shrek Are You?

Who The Shrek Are You? je zadnji in moj najljubši lakec iz Shrek Forever After kompletka minijev. Barva je zanimiva umazano zelena, čisto takšna kot Shrek :) .

Who The Shrek Are You? is last and my favourite nail polish from the Shrek Forever After minis. The color is very interesting and unique dirty green, just like Shrek :).

Nubar - Jewel

Tu je še drugi izmed mojih dveh Nubarčkov - Jewel. Gre za rjav odtenek, ki izgleda, kot bi se želel prelivati v rožnato barvo, vendar mu še ne bi rekla duochrome. Zraven pa je še veliko holografskega glitra, ki lakec naredi popolnoma unikaten.

And here is the second one of my two Nubar polishes - Jewel. This is a brown colour that looks like it wants to be pinky, but I wouldn't call it duochrome. And in there is thrown a lot of holographic glitter, which makes this polish totally unique.

OPI - Fiercely Fiona

Fiercely Fiona je predzadnji odtenek iz Shrek Forever After kompletka minijev. Lakec je rumene barve z zelo rahlim zelenim podtonom, ki se prikaže šele v primerjavi z nevtralno rumeno barvo. Na slikah so tri plasti laka.

Fiercely Fiona third shade from Shrek Forever After minis. This nail polish is yellow with a slight green undertone, that is seen only when compared to a neutral yellow color. There are three coats of polish on the photos.

"drowned" manicure :)

Idejo za tole manikuro sem pobrala pri Maestri z Parokeets, ki ji je po pravici povedano izvedba dosti boljše uspela, kot meni.
Uporabila sem lakca: Essence Shiny Star in Avon - Cherry Jubilee, nad manikuro ne bom obupala in bom naslednjič poskusila s temnejšim in bolj jelly lakcem.

This manicure was inspired by similar but a lot better created manicure by Maestra from Parokeets. I have used Avon - Cherry Jubilee and Essence - Shiniy Star nail polishes. Even though the manicure did not turn out as I wanted it to, I still like it and I will try to do it again with a darker jelly nail polish.




pa še dve slikici posneti na sončku, po tem ko sem imela manikuro na nohtkih že tri dni. Žal nisem uspela poslikati manikure v vsej svoji lepoti, saj je v resnici izgledala dosti bolj podobna maestrinim slikam kot mojim.
two more pictures, these two were taken in the sun after wearing this manicure for three day already. I did not sucess in taking a realistic picture of this manicure, it looked a lot more like on photos of Maestra.

OPI - Rumple’s Wiggin’

OPI - Rumple’s Wiggin’ je svetlo vijoličen krem lakec, ki pa žal za popolno prekrivnost potrebuje tri plasti. Vsekakor pa je barva tako lepa da vse odtehta :).

OPI - Rumple’s Wiggin’ is a nice light purple creme nail polish that sadly takes three coats to achieve opacity, but the color is so beautiful that it is definitely worth it.

Nubar - Purple Beach

Za vas imam fotografije enega od mojih dveh Nubarčkov, in sicer vijolično zelenega duochrome odtenka Purple Beach. Lakec vsebuje veliko vijoličnega in zelenega šimra, na fotografijah so tri plasti, vse pa so nastale na sončku. Žal mi zelene barve ni uspelo najbolje ujeti...

Here are the photos of one of my two Nubar polishes - purple green duochrome colour called Purple Beach. In it there is a lot of purple and green shimmer, there are three coats on the photos and they are all made in the sun. Unfortunately I could not capture the green colour...

Draga Halifax z bloga Sparkled Beauty nama je s Kanade poslala velik paket, ki sva ga prejeli ta teden. V njem se je skrivalo kar 20 lakcev!!! :) Sledi ogromno fotografij, tako da uživajte. Midve bova definitivno, ko bova packali nohtke s temi lepotci!!! :D

Dear Halifax from Sparkled Beauty sent us a big package from Canada, we have recieved it this week. Halifax, you're great, thank you sooo sooo much for making our dreams come true!!! In the package there were 20 nail polishes!!! :) Now sit back and enjoy, because there will be a lot of photos! And we will enjoy too, when we will be painting our nails with those beauties!!! :D
